What is Devil's Claw Dry Extract?
Devil’s Claw, also known as Harpagophytum procumbens, is grown in the arid grasslands of southwest Africa, means "hook plant" in Greek. This plant gets its name from the appearance of its fruit, which is covered with hooks meant to attach onto animals in order to spread the seeds. Devil’s claw root refers to the dried roots of the plant, which are used medicinally, primarily in Africa and Europe. Its extracted powder, devil's claw dry root extract has anti-inflammatory properties and often used to treat arthritis.
